The Forex industry is self governing and there are some flaws. Introducing Brokers, Commodity Pool Operators, Commodity Trading Advisers, Futures Commission Merchants all make money in this market. Many make money from commission per trade, so they tend to over trade accounts to get commission. If anyone grossly breaks the rules they get fined and even get cease and desist orders.
Here comes the sticky part. People in the industry have learned what they can get away with and just face fines. They build these fines into the cost of doing business and even build in the cost of starting new corporations to wipe the company slate clean. They do this over and over. If you look closely you can find this information, but sometimes that is 10 people and a firm you have to run background checks on through the NFA BASIC search. Many people don’t know they have to do this, a quick search in google usually turns up nothing. This information is buried on the NFA website, hard to get to, hard to research. Most people don’t even know until it is to late, there money is gone and then they start to do the research.
We here at Review Forex Traders think this is not right. Why this information is buried, why individuals can churn and burn clients and there companies and get away with it. We have gathered this information, put it on a new web platform in hopes of bring this information to the public before they learn the hard way. Please help us build up this community, voice your concerns or praise for traders and there companies, place red flags where they need to be.
